So...we live in Kingwood Texas and and there are a few trees throughout the city. Ok, maybe that description doesn't really do it justice. I should say...the city was built in/around a lush forest. It is a very private and peaceful place to live. The trees are filled with squirls and birds and all kinds of other creeping things that are constantly singing and talking to each other. I always think that this must be what the Garden of Eden sounded like. So, Kingwood is serene and we love it here....I think you get the point. Well, there is one teenie weenie downfall for living in Kingwood. The leaves. They start to fall in late October and they don't stop until late January and when you live in a freaking forest you have just a few to clean up.Day 1 of the cleanup yielded a mear 25 bags packed full of leaves (see picture above).
Day 2 of the clean up yielded 13 additional bags of leaves...and that didn't include the strip of grass on the other side of our garage or behind the bushes that sit in front of our house. I probably could have filled another 4 or 5 bags. So, for all you leaf and yard work enthusiasts out there.... that is a grand total of 38 (40 gallon) yard bags of leaves (beating last year's record of 36 bags)!!!

I am having a hard time feeling sorry for you guys in that 70 degree weather!
Dude, whatever...it gets cold here sometimes. This morning it was like 45 degrees.
That sounds so nice!!! I bet you go a nice work out picking all those up. Maybe my family should move there. We have warm weather here but no foliage. Desert baby!! You gotta love it.
So was it all you?!! (I secretly believe women are stronger than men.)
A- Day one was both Weston and I and day two was just me. If you notice the bags on day two aren't quite as full as the ones on day one because I wasn't tuff enough to lift the bags (when they were stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey) out of the garbage can and haul them across the yard. But..I will blame it on pregnancy...usually I am way tougher than Weston!! lol.
Wow. So ah, do you want a tree with those leaves? No I'm not funny and I am trying to be. Oh well. I hope your baby catched up in size.
SArah
I can relate to that! Having lots of trees in our backyard, we have a love/hate relationship with them because of ALL the work they require...
PS. SO frustrated with Meritage, they pushed the date back again... they better get on the ball! I might need that bosses number.
