Any other junkies out there? I don't watch very much TV but every summer I SO look forward to watching So You Think You Can Dance. I LOVE it! The new season started last week and I am totally stoked. Everytime I watch it I seriously want to dust off my dancin shoes. If you have never seen it, you have to! It's not cheesy like Dancing With The Stars or other dance shows. It is raw competition between "regular people"/dancers and they continue competing until one is voted the best dancer. Each dancer initially comes with their specialty of dance and then they are challenged to learn all other genres (Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Pop, etc). Whoever can grow and learn the most typically stays. Thus... the title of the show. I love watching the dancers grow throughout the season and the choreographers create the most amazing routines.
Try it and you will get hooked! Its on Thursday nights, Fox 13 @ 7:00. I will be adding my favorite performances throughout the season to my blog...so stay tuned.

This is my favorite reality tv show! I love the dancing and definitely the way it challenges the contestants to grow and learn. It's fun to see who can handle the heat. Let's get together and watch it!
So did you know that I was on season one???? Yeah, I went and tried out. I got threw a couple of rounds then I got cut. It was fun. I really haven't been watching it at all but I want to. I watched the dance below that you posted and it made me miss my college days because that is the kind of dance I majored in. Oh I love it. Keep me posted on the show. I have no time to watch it. k-bye

Sarah- I had no idea you were on season one! It doesn't suprise me though. You are awesome. You must have stayed away from the camera's. So who did you get to meet? (choreographers, etc.)
Emily, I LOVE this show. It is my all time favorite! I totally agree that "that other dancing show" is totally cheesy and pales by comparison.
